Last updated and effective date: 20 August 2026
Version: 1.0.0 (Draft subject to final legal review)

1. Platform Operator Identification

In compliance with Spanish e-Commerce and Information Society Services Law (Ley 34/2002, LSSI, Art. 10), the digital platform operating under the commercial brand NovaGo is operated by:

  • Platform Operator: {{FULL_LEGAL_NAME}}
  • Legal Form: Individual entrepreneur / sole trader (individual entrepreneur / autónomo)
  • Tax Identification Number (NIF): {{NIF}}
  • Business Address: {{BUSINESS_ADDRESS}}
  • General & Support Contact Email: support@novago.es
  • Legal Affairs Email: legal@novago.es

2. Platform Intermediation Model

NovaGo operates exclusively as a digital intermediation and technology mediation platform connecting passengers with legally authorized transport operators in Catalonia and the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB).

2.1 Two-Layer Contractual Architecture

  1. Digital Mediation Contract (Layer 1): Concluded between the Passenger and NovaGo (operated by {{FULL_LEGAL_NAME}}), covering quotation, routing, automated dispatch facilitation, and payment processing.
  2. Passenger Transport Contract (Layer 2): Concluded directly and exclusively between the Passenger and the Authorized Transport Carrier (Licensed Taxi Holder or VTC Authorization Holder) who accepts the booking offer.

IMPORTANT: NovaGo is not a public transport carrier, does not own passenger transport vehicles, and does not hold taxi licences or VTC authorizations. Physical transport is performed solely by the assigned carrier.

3. Supported Transport Modes

3.1 Regulated Metropolitan Taxi (IMET / Catalonia)

  • Governed by Catalan Taxi Law (Llei 19/2003), Decret 314/2016, and the Metropolitan Taxi Regulation (RMT).
  • Regulated Fares: Official IMET tariffs apply (Tarifa T3 closed-price or Tarifa T4 flat rate Airport ↔ Cruise Port). NovaGo never applies surge pricing, unauthorized surcharges, or altered taxi fares.
  • Carrier Identity: Carrier NIF, Taxi licence number, and vehicle plate are communicated upon dispatch confirmation.

3.2 Private Chauffeur / VTC (Catalonia)

  • Governed by Catalan VTC legislation (Decret-llei 9/2022).
  • Mandatory Precontracting: Requires a statutory minimum 15-minute precontracting interval between booking contract formation and passenger pickup.
  • RVTC Reporting: The carrier electronically reports the trip to the official transport registry prior to service commencement.

4. Booking Flow & Contract Formation

  1. Binding Conditional Request: Submitting a reservation constitutes a binding offer with payment obligation, conditional upon carrier acceptance.
  2. Dispatch & Acceptance: NovaGo transmits the request to eligible carriers using objective, non-discriminatory criteria.
  3. Contract Confirmation: The transport contract takes legal effect when an authorized carrier accepts the request, confirming carrier credentials and scheduled pickup time.

5. Pricing, Payments & Invoicing

  1. Deterministic Pricing: Quoted prices are server-calculated and include 10% Spanish passenger transport VAT.
  2. Secure Payment: Transactions are securely processed via an authorized payment service provider (Stripe).
  3. Invoicing:
    • The Transport Invoice / Receipt is issued by NovaGo on behalf of the independent carrier (RD 1619/2012, Art. 5).
    • The Platform Commission Invoice is issued by the platform legal operator ({{FULL_LEGAL_NAME}}) to the carrier.

6. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations and passenger no-show conditions are governed by our Cancellation and No-Show Policy.

7. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Spanish law and applicable regional regulations in Catalonia. Consumers retain the right to submit disputes to courts corresponding to their domicile.
